About Us

A few years ago, Brother Robert Jones felt impressed by the Spirit to set up a web site for the salvation experience of the Lord’s people that have a time and place where they were saved.  He began to record videos and asked his brother, Brother Ottis Jones, to assist by setting up the web site.  He promised he would and obtained the web name “mysalvationexperience.com”, but Brother Ottis delayed until the Lord impressed strongly in the summer of 2011 that it was time to set up the web site.  Brother James Jones, the third brother, brought back videos of the salvation experience of  charter members as Ramogi Hill Missionary Baptist Church was organized in Kenya, and Ottis and his wife Sherrill, Robert and James  brothers are carrying on the work of the web site.

As the work proceeded, other opportunities were found to share the video salvation experiences.  The following describes the web presence:

https://www.mysalvationexperience.com/

facebook, search: “My Salvation Experience”

https://vimeo.com/mysalvationexperience/videos

HD videos are posted on Vimeo for high speed internet connections, TV connections and smart phones.  The “mysalvationexperience.com” site provides video and written testimonies and can be seen with lower speed internet connections.  The video is shared on the “My Salvation Experience” facebook page which also provides opportunities for anyone to share someone’s experience with their friends.

In addition to recording salvation experiences at special services, Brother Ottis Jones attends prayer meetings at churches or homes.  He sets up the video recording equipment, and the group sings and prays until, or if, someone is led by the Spirit to record their salvation experience.

The persons present are encouraged to follow the leadership of the Spirit in the matter, and are admonished to not record their salvation unless the Spirit leads.  If the Lord leads, the person generally sits in front of the camera, Sister Sherrill Jones attaches a microphone and the person follows the leadership of the Spirit by relating their salvation experience.  Sometimes a few relate their salvation, and on one occasion everyone present gave their testimony.  No one is requested to tell their experience, because only the Spirit should determine if a person should testify.
