Brother Luther E Jent
From a letter dated December 9, 1979
Dear Christian Friends,
I was saved when I was about eleven years of age. Our school teacher took our class to the revival at Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Allen County Kentucky. She seated us toward the back of the building in the center row of seats. While the preacher was preaching, I became so burdened down realizing I was lost. Before that service was over, the Lord saved me. At first I wanted to tell everybody, but something told me they would not believe me anyway.
I didn’t tell anyone at that time. At times in my life I have doubted my salvation, but when I pray about it, the Lord reveals it to me again.

From a letter dated December 1979
I was saved as a teenager. Brother N. C Fuqua was pastor at Rocky Mound Missionary Baptist Church. It was around the last of August, and I had been to the altar seeking the Lord.
I was like a troubled sea, kneeling under a tree on the farm, and I asked God to have mercy. God replaced my troubled soul with a very quite peace and a lasting love. I’m thankful for the Old Fashion Missionary Baptist teaching, parents that took me to Rocky Mound Missionary Baptist Church and the teaching that I have never forgotten.
Yours in Christ,
Lois Jent
